If you use S+ or other mods like that, they will have ways of unlocking those engrams in built. This post is two years old haha, a lot has changed and a lots been added since then. I do know however, that genesis has exclusive engrams that need to be unlocked by completing the boss/missions on those maps. So you might need a workaround for that.
